In July, Boom! Studios will be publishing a new Adventure Time mini-series called Adventure Time: Marceline And The Scream Queens, to be written and drawn by Octopus Pie’s Meredith Gran!

It will also have a backup by Jen Wang with variant covers by Chynna Clugston, Lucy Knisley, Ming Doyle and Colleen Coover.

Best of all, it looks like we’ll be getting loads of Marceline/Bubblegum interaction, which I know I’ve been hungry for ever since “What Was Missing”:

Thanks to a newfound interest in music, Princess Bubblegum joins Marceline’s paranormal rock band for a tour across the land of Ooo! But when they’re threatened by everything from scenesters to beasts born of self-doubt, can they make it to the RADDEST GIG EVER in time?!

I would kill a baby with my bare hands to do a cover/contribute art to this comic.

Oh dude, Meredith Gran doing Adventure Time?! Nice one! I’ve got to pick this thing up!

And to try and (feebly) one-up Kate Leth, I’d kill TWO babies AND a cute old lady for a chance to draw just one of Marceline’s fingers in this comic. So ha!

(Does that make me a terrible person? I’m leaning towards yes on that one.)
